Day 8: Gentian
Oracle Card for the Day: Brigit ~ Don’t Back Down (Jumper) + Bast ~ Independent (Pulled with the intention of how to proceed on waiting my cosmic love, or at least a third encounter with a man whose aura I have now collided with twice.)
Yesterday, when telling a friend about this man and the encounters, within the context of cosmic ones and twin flames she asked “Do you think you’ll will run into him again?!” and without hesitation I answered “Yes”. My conviction surprised me at the time but I know in my heart, without a shred of doubt, I will see him again when it is time.
This morning I woke up, and uncharacteristically decided to read. I had only read a few pages of my book when I came across this:
I’m an old, superstitious Arab, and I believe in our proverbs. There’s one that says “Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time. – Excerpt from The Alchemist (pg. 148) <<< *insert mind-blown emoji here*
Meditation: 17 minutes // No sound // Zhada (Ending bell)
Notes: Came out at 5:33 due to an itch. Readjusted my legs, tapped the ash off the cedar incense, and then debated about going back in the for remaining 4 minutes. The trust muscle and ability to connect with my inner self is strengthening. Finding it easier to tap in. The Alchemist is truly an omen and a companion for this journey. I am grateful.
Precursor: I read yesterday in Stefan Ball’s remedy book “Generally you should try to keep the number of different remedies being taken to at any one time to six or less.” And I feel Agrimony (brace happy face) and Wild Rose (resignation and apathy to life) are definitely in my six. Other possibilities include Cerato (decision paralysis) and Star of Bethlehem (blocked shock and trauma). Yesterday I knowingly picked Cherry Plum because my conscious brain confused it with the benefits and needs of Crab Apple. Today I am getting my hair cut and I am having a long overdue self-care day so we shall see what remedy is in-store for today . . .
Arrangement: Placed on the oracles and then individually picked up and replaced like chess pieces in various places using intuition and subconscious deign and composition theory (*insert face palm emoji here* >>> design never leaves me!).
The Pick: The straddling both cards. The bridge. The in-between-er. Many fell and I consciously avoided the faces and key word associated with oracles but it wasn’t until I put the straddler in its place that I knew, that was the one!
Observations: Initial tension followed by release in my low back. Thawing of facial muscles around my lips and mouth. Incredibly content just staring at The Divine on the altar. Just observed her with nowhere to be and no other cares in the world.
Side note: Gratitude that I found her in Brighton and that someone had placed a coin (whilst in the shop) where there is now a candle and that I knew it was The Universe reminding me of abundance. I bought her but left the coin to another that looked just like her. I was rich enough just to have found her.
