Day 10: Clematis
Oracle Card for the Day: Abundantia ~ Prosperity
Meditation: 16 minutes // No sound // Shürong (Ending bell)
Notes: Many drifting thoughts but overall a deep sense of calm and firmly grounded. Many sounds went by outside my window as I was in a very mindful state but not necessarily connecting with my true self. Luggage wheels starting in my right ear growing louder until eventually they were out of earshot of the left ear. Thoughts of passage of time through the medium of sound. Very interesting. As well a crying baby went from inside the house to outside without missing a crying beat. Consistency. Rhythm. Distance. Perception. Many thoughts today, I must have really needed to meditate.
Mindful Moment: Abundance is the result of two things: discipline + fun. Phone call with Tessa this morning where I clearly articulated my need for this blog. In order to make the time and space to learn about the remedies and build a relationship with each individual remedy I needed to create this. I am a visual person and the sheer existence of this keeps me accountable. Fun idea, I would love to do an event in Columbia Road Flower Market (early before the crowds comes) where we sit among the flowers and take the time to be with them. Have us share the same air. Receive their healing and explore the remedies. This idea really excites me!
Arrangement: Infinity snowman. Symbolic of infinite prosperity. Although the circuit looks open it is actually closed as Abundantia is ever-flowing from her cornucopia of coins :D The point of creation is never perfection but just to create. I thoroughly enjoyed building this arrangement. I remembered my love for pattern, composition, and expression. I am beginning to understand art as therapy and art without concept. No brain just heart <3
The Pick: The one that stood out to me most after visually tracing the loop. Prominence.
Observations: Ripples of warmth in my stomach. The air affected by the candle is mimicking what I am feeling. Waves of warmth. Stomach and heart. Peaceful.
Flower Remedy: Clematis
Latin Name: Clematis vitalba
Grouping: Not in the Present
Issue: Difficulties living in the now
Chakra: Throat // Blue // 5th Chakra // Communication from within
Other Remedies in this Group: Honeysuckle, Wild Rose, Olive, White Chestnut, Mustard, Chestnut Bud
Specific to Clematis
Bach Classification: For personality or type remedies (1st 19 - 12 Healers)
Preparation: Sun method
Primary Remedy: Escaping the unpleasantries of today by daydreaming about the future
Secondary Remedy: Spacey thoughts, faintness, forgetfulness
Receptivity: Practical desire to turn their dreams into a reality. Become purposeful and proactive with their ideas.
Extra tidbits: Those is need of Clematis often prefer their own company, and whilst they appear to be listening to others they are barely absorbing anything. They tend to be unaware of their surroundings and are often going through life without truly taking in all the sights, sounds, and offerings that life has for us. Crazy that before taking this remedy, I was hyper aware of the sounds in my neighbourhood during my meditation. Clematis cravers often have problems with one or more of their five senses and are notorious for having poor memories. Most importantly to note: they are not interested in getting better or changing their current state. Other tendencies include: listless, ability to sleep anywhere through anything, artistically and spiritually gifted.
